The following optional activities are being conducted by private individuals/parties. Follow the specific instructions below to register to participate.  Check back often for updated information

Yoga in the Park

Yoga reduces your stress and tension and improves your balance, flexibility, and core strength, and is just fun.  Kick off your morning the right way by joining other conference attendees for Yoga in the Park!
  • Activity Information: Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10 6:00 am at the Richfield City Park, 300 North Main.  There is no charge for this event.

Morning Trail Walk/Jog/Run

Get a beautiful sunrise view of the Sever Valley as you walk, jog, or run the spectacular Sun Rise Trail.  The just over 4 mile adventure will take you on a paved bike trail, gravel and dirt ATV trails, as well as a short distance on city streets. 
  • Activity Information: Friday, July 10 at the Richfield Lion's Park, 457 West, 400 North (map).  Meet at 5:54, begging at 6:00.  There is no charge for this event.

Mountain Bike Ride

Richfield has 35 miles of new groomed single track mountain bike trails in the hills West of town. Within the next 4 years, there will be over 100 additional miles of new trails.  Come enjoy an evening experiencing these trails.

  • Activity information: Thursday, July 9, 2020.  No cost.  Meet at the bike trail-head kiosk north of the north Freeway underpass (view map) at 5:30.  Ride will begin at 6:00 pm, and is free of charge.

  • Rentals: Must bring your own bike.  No rentals available

ATV Ride

Sevier County is the home of the Paiute ATV Trail and the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree.  The annual Jamboree is in its 22nd year, and each September brings hundreds of ATV and Mountain enthusiasts from around the county (and world!) to experience the Paiute ATV trail system.  The main trail itself is 240 miles long, but there are over 2,000 miles of side tails for exploration.

  • Rentals:  You will need to bring your own ATV, or rent one locally.

Road Bike Ride

The Candy Mountain Express Bike Trail takes you on a picturesque ride on a paved trail through Marysvale Canyon, following the old route of the Rio Grande Railroad. The Canyon ride itself is 7 miles from Big Rock Candy Mountain to the mouth of the canyon, but the trail continues through the Sevier Valley farmlands another 11 miles to Richfield, making the complete one-way ride 18 miles.  

  • Activity Information:  Thursday, July 9, 2020.  No cost.  Meet at the Candy Mountain Express Trail Head (map).

  • Rentals: You will need to bring your own bike to this activity, or rent one from Big Rock Adventures.

Fremont Indian State Park

Discover artifacts, petroglyphs, and pictographs left behind by the Fremont Indians. During construction of Interstate 70, the largest known Fremont Indian village was uncovered. This museum preserves treasures from the site, including pottery, baskets, and arrowheads. Spend a day at the museum, take a hike on the trails, and then camp at nearby Castle Rock Campground or Sam Stowe Campground. The museum is open from 9:00 - 5:00 each day, and will be free admission for conference attendees and families from July 8-11.

Big Rock Adventures

Big Rock Adventure is located at the Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort along the Historic Heritage Highway 89, in Sevier County, Utah.  Big Rock Adventure provides the best of west adventure.  Our guides will help you experience numerous recreational activities including Whitewater Rafting, Ropes Courses, Ziplines, Bike Rentals, Via Ferrata Courses, and easy going Float Trips.

  • Activity Information: From White Water Rafting the Sevier River to Zipline-Tours at the Big Rock Candy Mountain, Big Rock Adventure creates the ultimate outdoor experience for anyone willing to find their sense of adventure.  Conference attendees and their families can receive 10% off the cost of any activity.  River rafting times for attendees have been specifically reserved for Thursday, July 9 at 5:00 and Friday, July 10 at 1:00 and 3:00.  However you can schedule any other open time that better fits your schedule.
